Our Founders
CEO: Dave Durkee

Our founder and technical director, Dave Durkee, has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology infrastructure, networking, business applications development, and executive corporate management. He has held several senior management positions in Information Technology, including CIO of a successful hosted ERP application service provider, Netsuite.com. At NetSuite, Dave designed and managed the build-out of an award-winning million-customer data center based on multitier redundant arrays of servers and network-attached storage. He also has extensive experience with enterprise applications development and deployment on Microsoft and Linux platforms for large and small customers, including large client-server database applications.
Dave's experience in building NetSuite's IT infrastructure led directly to his founding of ENKI. At NetSuite, Dave was chartered to build a best of breed, highly scalable, secure, and reliable 4-nines data center, but at an extreme cost to build and maintain. He realized that many companies will need such capability in the future, without having the budget to build and maintain it for themselves, and founded ENKI to address this market.
Dave's senior level management background together with his broad experience in Information Technology consulting brings a deep understanding of the issues surrounding business needs and how technology can serve them. Dave's passionate committment to self-development has been the motivation behind founding ENKI on a basis of win/win relationships and absolute integrity.
COO: Eric Novikoff

Eric brings extensive technical and management experience to the table at ENKI. Eric has over 20 years of experience in the electronics and software industries, over a range of positions from integrated circuit designer to software/hardware project manager, to Director of Development at an Internet Software As A Service startup, Netsuite.com. Eric's technical, project, and financial management skills have been honed in multiple positions at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies on a variety of product lines, including managing the development and roll-out of a worldwide CRM and sales automation application for Agilent's $350 million Automatic Test Equipment business. Eric also has a strong interest in SME (Small/Medium Size Enterprise) management, process development, and operations as a consequence of working at a web based ERP service startup serving SMEs, and through his small-business ERP consulting work. Like Dave, Eric's committment to self-development and inquiry makes him a natural fit for ENKI's win/win business style.
