Primary Mode of Interface to ENKI
Work orders and incidents submitted to ENKI via email, web ticketing system, or phone (with necessary documentation).  ENKI responds via email or phone with an initial response window determined by plan type.  ENKI notifies you of events requiring your attention via email or phone, or through your custom ticketing system. Incidents (requests for support) submitted to ENKI via email, web ticketing system, or phone (depending on plan type.)   Enki responds via email or phone (depending on plan type) with an initial response window determined by plan.
ENKI Responsibilities
Advising you and implementing the best application of VPDC benefits and features to meet your business need.  Planning, design, provisioning,  maintenance and management of your AppLogic Grid-based virtual private data center, including performance optimization.  Selection, deployment, and maintenance of standard or custom appliances. Monitoring and response to service delivery interruptions and KPI variances per contracted SLA (Service Level Agreement). Coordinating multiple vendors required for application delivery to provide high uptime and reliability.  Root-level administration responsibility for production virtual servers, including deployment of application software updates.  Appliance development available at ENKI standard consulting rates. Answering questions on Grid operations including Grid creation, administration, and AppLogic software problems and errors, appliance creation and management, and best practices.  Architectural problem solving or planning such as adding capacity, special services, or security/reliability.  Resolution of AppLogic software problems with 3Tera. Minor changes to your grid setup or configuration on a per-incident basis (with login provided) including adding, deleting, or restarting library appliances, managing disk and CPU usage, and changing IP addresses.
Limitations ENKI is not responsible for your application software or existing Appliances including verifying correct operation, down time due to software defects, incompatibility or misconfiguration, or any application software development, testing, or version management.  ENKI is not responsible for a single system SLA unless ENKI virtual private data center services are included in the plan.  Grid provisioning and maintenance services may depend on ENKI being given Grid Maintainer and Aldo Server access to your Grid. Appliance design and development is not included. Appliance and application design (including any sort of development or documentation activity) or provisioning services are not included.  Training is limited to answering per-incident questions via contracted communication method.  Support plans include minor grid maintenance as necessary, but are not intended to be used as outsourced operations management.
Pricing Proportional to appliance type and count in application under OaaS service.  Cost per appliance is based on a risk and complexity assessment model that categorizes supported appliances into Custom, Standard, and High Reliability types, with multiple instances of appliances treated as a single unit.  Discounted rates available for customers of ENKI Virtual Private Data Center services.

Percentage of monthly grid cost, varies with support plan type.  Decreasing incremental cost with increasing grid server count over 4 servers (x+x/5+x/6...)  Included at no cost where applicable for customers of ENKI Virtual Private Data Center services.
