What is The Computing Utility?

ENKI's Computing Utility is a marriage of enterprise-grade on-demand cloud hosting and outsourced operations delivered as a single service to your business.  ENKI's hosting is based upon built-to-order Virtual Private Data Centers, built from one virtual server up to hundreds, each with their own resource allocation using as little as 1% of a CPU up to multiple CPUs.  ENKI VPDCs are allocated from a grid of capable servers in a secure SAS70 certified data center to meet the demands of your business and the architecture of your application software.  You pay only for the computing resources you need on a monthly basis. For multiple-virtual-server configurations, the virtual servers can be assigned specific roles in your application structure as they would be in an enterprise data center full of physical servers, but with the inherent efficiency and scalability that comes sizing each virtual server optimally so that you only use the resources your application needs.  ENKI's operations services team provides your business the benefits of an in-house IT department by designing and managing your Virtual Private Data Center(s) including the software infrastructure necessary to run your application.  You build or buy, maintain, and operate your application - we do the rest.
